Westside Winter Festival, Dec. 13


Westside Urban Market and White Provision Company, collectively known as the Westside Provisions District, will host the first annual Westside Winter Festival from 10am – 8pm December 13. Enjoy tasty nibbles, yummy beverages, treats and more from WSPD restaurants Bacchanalia, JCT Kitchen, Taqueria del Sol and Pasta Figo. Carolers and festive holiday lights set the mood as you explore and discover special events taking place throughout the market, including:

· Gift card making and wrapping paper decorating at Terra Cottage, where you will find an array of gift options starting at only $8
· Meet and greet local author Virginia Willis who will be signing her cookbook "Bon Appétit, Y'all: Three Generations of Southern Cooking" at Star Provisions
· Supervised ornament making and tree decorating with the crew from Sprout and Seed Factory
· Complimentary wine and snacks during the afternoon and evening while you peruse merchandise at Bungalow, Kolo Collection, SWITCH, Silk Trading Company, Owen Lawrence and G. Gilbert
· Trunk show featuring jewelry by Michelle Toole at Bungalow

A  Bridge Dedication Ceremony  will be held at noon for the new footbridge which spans the railroad tracks and connects Westside Urban Market with White Provision Company; Special edition WSPD bridge t-shirts will be given away to the first 250 attendees.

The Westside Provisions District will be sponsoring a donations drive throughout the month of December to benefit the Atlanta Union Mission / My Sister’s House.  Atlanta Union Mission’s Howell Mill Road campus, My Sister’s House, is the Mission’s full service center for women and children. The campus houses 136 women and children in a nightly emergency shelter and 128 women and children in the Mission’s residential recover program. Festival attendees are encouraged to donate personal care items, diapers, clothing, toiletries and other essentials.
