Zombies? Clones? Art?

If you're driving Piedmont Avenue this weekend and see a bunch of people standing along the roadway, don't panic. It's not an army of zombies, but a unique art installation of more than 100 mannequins to promote eon at Lindbergh.

The Dawson Company and The Lane Company have joined forces to build the new condo development, which will be located in the 47-acre Lindbergh City Center on Piedmont Road in Buckhead. All of the 352 residences at eon will be EarthCraft House-certified, offering healthy, comfortable living specifically designed to help reduce utility bills and increase protection for the environment. EarthCraft House is the environmentally friendly building program of the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association that helps consumers lower maintenance and operational costs and improve air quality by using products that don't give off noxious emissions, as well as providing tighter seals to reduce mildew problems. One- and two-bedroom homes will start in the $180s.

The mannequins are also expected to pop up at other locations this weekend, including the Georgia Dome for a Falcon's game.
