New works by three former members of the original Nexus photographic cooperative, Robert Alter, Lucinda Bunnen, and Chip Simone will be in The Seasoned Eye exhibition, opening Saturday at The Seen Gallery in Decatur. "I chose Alter, Bunnen, and Simone," independent curator Susan Todd-Raque states, "because they have been making consistently strong images since the 1970's. Their devotion to the medium of photography is evident in their insight to the suggestive moment. As viewers, we can learn from their experience, from the trained eye." The exhibition continues through Nov. 16. For more information, contact The Seen Gallery, 321 West Hill Street, (404) 377-0030 or www.theseengallery.com.
